Man, Joker sure can fuck with your mind.. it takes years and years of brooding and self recrimination and two dozen other deranged rogues to get a skin as thick as Batman's, I guess... he's just cut for the mind games.
Yep. He eats a bowl of nails and glass for breakfast with motoroil on top with a glass of battery acid. Hes the Batman... most macho of the macho
He's target to practically every accusation ever...
Especially in this 'verse. A hint for my next story... Batman in the pound!

Come on, Clark! don't fall for his game. It all came apart for me there, because that Batman Joker is describing can't be the same guy who laughs about being immature and still keeps an eye in Arkham's inmates by trying to make the place better, and all the things that Bruce, not Batman, does. The sense of humor, the heart, the mercy? those are all Bruce's, and Joker doesn't get to know those. Come ooon, Clark!

See there is the problem... I think Batman is cool because he has this flexibility, that could easily shatter. I think the Joker is a little right and a little wrong about Bruce/Batman. And it's mostly jealousy. Joker is jealous of Batman and for Batman and about anyone else who knows Batman.

It's like the perfect example of the difference between Cupidity And Charity, Sacred and Profane. It isn't just a matter of lust. It is the desire to possess something tangible. Joker has a greed for Batman which will never be satiated, Clark has love for Bruce which while the character does not understand but will continue to grow and flourish. And Bruce is sort of torn up the middle trying to find a human balance.

I was watching this great fan vid Patient J, and it brought up all these issues.

I think it is just sour Grapes... but it is kinda messed up that Batman is hanging around with the other woman... in a manner of speaking. Clark is a Saint. I would make Batman move and change his cell phone number if I was his lover.

It's Gotham, I say! she builds this people.
I would say the insanity flood from Batman ironically. And he isn't the crazy one either, he is just the boy who sits on the firehydrant afer it busts.

Thank you for liking my favorite line of the piece. That was the first line I came up with!
