then i ate them all.
A few days later; after a friday night spectacular, and the hottest saturday night ever,
sunday was the next giants game for dante and i.
We hoped for a sweeping win over the San Diego Padres.
However, a Padres fan in front of us did not want the Giants to win.
This was slightly more entertaining than the game.
Really really hoping.
:)
The next day was freshman orientation up in Sacramento. It was 111 degrees that day. Merely stepping outside was dreaded.
The second day of orientation was quicker, and not as hot. Out of my group, I was the last person in the registration room because I couldnt get any of the classes I wanted, and had to search for others. I came up with these:
HIST-017A -- MW -- 1200-0115PM (History)
LS -007A -- MWF -- 0200-0250PM (Math)
MW -- 0300-0350PM
PHIL-006 -- TR -- 0900-1015AM (Philosophy)
SOC -001 -- TR -- 0230-0345PM (Sociology)
2 of which I suprisingly have with my boyfriend :). I'll have plenty of time for studying, working on weekends, etc.
From Sacramento, I drove up to Eagle Lake. Drove through the desolate Reno, then up 395. It was a good 5 hour drive.
Stopped in Reno for gas, laughed at the trashiest ads ever.
Sneak peek.
Immediately down to the beach, where my family and friends connect all their shade.
AJ was assigned as the kids' new toy.
He needs breaks too though.
Mom coaxed Zoe into the water.
But Zoe wasnt so sure she made the right choice.
My mom was often portrait-ready.
I wouldve taken a picture of the incredibly star-lit sky but my camera isnt slow enough.
The next day, tube-riding ensued.
He thought he knew how to use a knife.
Next morning, skiing was a main attraction.
Then i was coaxed into skiing as well.
Hottie twin red-heads.
Oh, shirt, how you make me LAUGH.
I apologize if I've ever told you a story about this shirt.
Kyle, in his brother's wheelchair.
No bueno.
Gasing up the boat for a day-trip to the other end of the lake.
Skins.
All 3 of our boats were tied together near a slalom course.
Ellie showed us how to fart with a leg.
We brought Zoe into the water fun.
This picture explains the ride over to this end of the lake.
The last morning there, I woke up to a handful of kids competitively playing Backgammon.
PHEEEEW. goodbye.
