So, for what I believe is the second time in five years at this job, I have made the mistake of scheduling people for training without actually reserving the instrument time to train them. About 30 minutes into the 2 hour session another user comes up and politely asks if I'm going to be much longer on the instrument. This leads to the standard exchange of "I believe I have this until 3:30" - "No, I think I have it reserved" - "OK, lets check the calendar". In almost every other instance, the result of this check is that I am correct, and I have the time reserved while the other user has made a scheduling error. But apparently this time I somehow forgot to actually book the time online.

I apologized up and down to the trainees, but I still feel like a moron.
