Ok, so here it is, I finally got one of these accounts. (I suppose that's probably the first line everyone uses) But there's alot that's changing in life right now so it might be good to add entires once in a while so I can go back and see them later on.
What's changing a lot right now.. well, work is hectic. The whole SOX thing is annoying. If you don't know what that is, consider yourself lucky. If you do and you have to work with it, you've got my sympathy. And the whole project to upgrade our email systems to Exchange is a nightmare. If you know anything about me, you probably know what a low opinion I've got for most MS products, but I'm trying to give this the benifit of the doubt. When If it goes wonky, it will be something to laugh at.
I'm also becoming a volunteer fire fighter in town here, just the ideal job for someone associated with being a dragon, huh? It looks like it'll be alot of work, but fun. Tonight was my first night at the academy. It felt odd being with everyone else that was so much younger than me, and being back in a classroom setting, but it'll be a new challenge.
Nothing else is too notable right now. My car is misbehaving, it's got a dead starter, so I have to keep parking on slopes to push start it. I've got the new starter, hopefully I can swap it out this weekend. My dog is doing well too, just bothered by the rain outside. I'll likely have more posts about him before too long.
