Oops!
Wow.. when I started this journal I expected I'd use it to keep track of some of the things I got though while going through the fire academy, among other things...
Now the academy is over. I manged to get through it and pass, and it was a lot of fun (except for the early mornings). I've got a lot less hair now too, thanks to an interesting celebration party after the final... though I don't mind, the pony tail was starting to be too much trouble. I've even actually made it on a few rigs at the firestation too for calls, but they haven't been for anything too exciting yet.
Hmm.. someday I need to get a good LJ icon like everyone else has, maybe I can ask Zexyz if I can use one of the sketches he did of me sometime.
Someday I need to work on all my programming projects again, I'm starting to get more in the mood to work on code again now that I'm not always off at the academy or copying notes. Maybe when the rain starts again I can do more of that.
For now, though, I need to figure out what the next fun thing to start getting into will be.. I'm trying to make a promise to myself to get out more this winter, I want to get a few days of skiing or other winter sports in for a change, even if the snow is always so far away...
