Draco thought he’d be safe from the trick-or-treaters at the Manor. He wanted some alone time with his wife, away from work and her supremely clingy friends. He had even gone as far as light two hundred scented candles by hand. But it didn’t stop the doorbell from chiming, nor Malfoy-nee Granger-from getting out of bed to answer it.
“Come back to bed.”
“I can’t just let these children ring without responding. It’s tradition.”
“I don’t care about children.”
His veela mate glared at him.
“Fine, I care about our children.”
“Then I’ll go fetch them for trick-or-treating!”
