Hermione was humiliated.
Absolutely humiliated.
She was never going to show her face outside ever again.
Instead, she is going to stay inside her room at the Order Headquarters’ forever.
She and Draco were in every newspaper and magazine. They were featured in various states of undress, kissing, and one shot didn’t leave the reader any imagination as to what they had done afterwards with the back of her head in front of Draco’s crotch.
Amongst the many headlines that had screamed were, “Traitor!! Granger Has Gone Rogue!!”, “Spy or Traitor?”, “State Secrets Compromised in More Ways Than One”, and “Modern Day Romeo and Juliet?”
Draco was currently trying to soothe her, but his maniacal laughter wasn’t helping one bit.
She glared at him. “It’s not funny! This is all your fault!!”
“My fault?” he gasped out, still laughing. “If I remember, you quite enjoyed our adventurous night out.”
Her lips thinned. She grabbed the nearest object, the newspaper, when he continued to laugh and chuckle.
Twack.
“Ow! What was that for?”
“That was for embarrassing me and thinking it’s funny to boot! This is a serious matter!”
“Look Hermione, it’s not going to be so bad. I don’t think we’re in trouble. If we were, they’d have hauled us down for questioning. No one’s knocking on the door,” Draco said, his hand touching her cheek.
His lips gave hers a heady kiss, making her forget all about her embarrassment and worries, even if it was against her better judgement.
