well, this is part of a partially finished fic I've been writing since last year, the beginning is almost all H/G, but D/Hr came in and I am trying to integrate the two storylines into one story :) I think it's just you and me here right now :p
I really loved the interaction between Hermione and Draco here. There's such a sense of something new about to begin--all Hermione has to do is take that first step and she'll start to fall. The idea of being unhappily married but still committed is very realistic, and I think Hermione, in particular, would believe she could overcome any issue in her marriage if she thinks it through and works hard enough.
I have a couple fics where they play one of the minor romantic couples, I always saw them together after I read the epilogue ;)
I see that too - it's so Hermione. She'll ignore it if Ron's cheating or just being an idiot because she thinks it has to work. I look forward to, if I ever find time, to really writing a full-length fic where we see her realise how wrong Ron is for her and how right Draco is.
I love the under the tone message that came to mind after reading this drabble. I can really imagine this scene, staying true to the epilogue. And very in character to the way Jo wrote them. *nods* :D

Draco's right, though: it really takes two.
