Wonderful! Terrific use of the prompt and of 2nd person POV. I think the parallels you drew between the choices they made to protect their families was insightful.

This may be my favorite thing written for this challenge so far. Well done.

Thank you! I always thought that their family situation was alike, seeing that they both have no siblings and all. ^_^

That's nicely written. It's true, that everything happened like that because of the bad choices they did, even if it was to protect their family. Great drabble :)

Yeah, they both made bad choices but then they were both blinded by their love of their parents and made mistakes. I like to think that one of the benefits to growing up is that you're wise enough not to keep repeating those mistakes. Thanks for the review.
