This week was different than most because my favorite had no real competition, but I had a much more difficult time choosing my least favorite. I think, perhaps, it's that I've only seen bits and pieces of the film so I had a difficult time seeing how the drabbles related to the film.

Still, good job everyone!

Your reasoning - about not having seen the film- is actually the best reason for not relating a drabble closely to the movie - much of the readers probably haven't seen any particular film on any given week.

The film really is just the prompt inspiration - not a drabble requirement.

This is my way of saying "The mods were lazy and we thought this would be a neat way to come up with 12 to 14 prompts".

I've found it fascinating to correlate the winners/losers against the actual film, and whether my own favorites are because the drabble is true to the film or just a good Hermione/Draco moment.

LOL! I don't think you're lazy at all. Inspirations/adaptations are always a treat to read, and this 'season' hasn't been lacking in any way.

Isn't the icon pretty? It's by mystik_rose who has such pretty icons. I have seen the new Felton picture ::points:: it's very pretty. Honestly, he is Draco Malfoy, don't you think?

Yes, I think so - though I like Jason Lewis (see icon) for my older Draco (so that I don't feel pervy - lol)

I've never seen Jason Lewis before ... hmmmm. I can see why you like him for an older Draco. It's the angle of his eyebrow, isn't it?

He was on Sex and the City (my eye candy show) - as Samantha's actor boyfriend for two years. A model before that.

Oh, yeah. It's the nose. Personally, I quite like his taste in vodka! Guh!
