Thanks! Hehe yeah I'm a bit self-conscious about how I seem to be the only serious drabble thus far. I hope I won't be the only one! I do love the parodies, but for some reason I saw Moulin Rouge and just thought dark dark dark.

Awww. So dark and... lovely. I'd like to see more a drabble in this story arc. It would be interesting to see where it could go.

Thank you! That's a very big compliment :). I actually had a really hard time not turning this into a huge story once I started, and ended up having to cut a lot out. That means that my plan on doing drabbles in order to become more concise is already working! Though it does leave me wanting to write a bunch of longer stories. I would gladly try to write out a longer version later or give up the idea to someone else who wanted to use it.

It feels like there's definitely more! I wish I had that problem. Length has always been an issue for me. I spit everything out so quickly and then, I'm left hanging looking for some more.

Why, thank you! Maybe someday it'll be more than a drabble. I might consider extending it myself, but also if anyone expresses interest in taking up the idea and going with it I would be glad to hand it over.
