What an incredible first week! Congratulations to everyone who submitted a drabble - they were completely amazing. (NOTE: banners will be up when they’re ready!)
The votes were incredibly close, with one vote separating the winner from TWO other drabbles. Congratulations to our winner, bookishwench!! who wrote “Silence Speaks Volumes” with +6 points (6 votes).
I really wish we didn’t have to eliminate anyone! Every week, this is the worst part of the challenge. BUT, it’s all in good fun, and we hope everyone will come back and play in the future. Now for the new component to the challenge: MOD’S CHOICE!! First, let me say that all of the drabbles are just plain GOOD. A few stood out to us, and one we thought was brilliant. Not only was it set in a library, but it also managed to convey that feeling of being lost in a book.
