Hurray! You picked the "going bald" prompt! Thanks for that; I've been hoping someone would write about Draco's receding hairline woes for ages. :)

I enjoyed Draco's angst over his hair and his very real concern about Hermione being the Healer running the trial. I also appreciated her professionalism in her response. :) Nicely done.

I think my favorite parts were their first kiss - when they said absolutely NOTHING to each other for several minutes afterwards :) - and the banter at the end where they answered one another's questions with questions of their own. That made me smile extra-wide. :)

Draco's worry about the possibility of being the only totally bald Malfoy really made me chuckle! I loved the complication he encountered by unexpectedly finding Granger as overseer of his case, and how he bravely went through it in spite of potential humiliation. :) Loved the give and take between them in the dialogue at the end, and the teenager-y grins that finished off the story. That's a very good sign!

What an original prompt, and how well you've executed it! I'd love to see you add more to the ending at some point, maybe a short epilogue. But even if you don't, this is already a really enjoyable fic, well written and believably characterized. And bravo to both Draco and Hermione, for acting impulsively on their feelings for each other!

P.S. Must have been his grandfather on the Black side with the bald genes. That's how it goes, as I understand it. The culprit is always the maternal grandfather.

Lovely fic! I just giggle at Draco being SO morose and dramatic about going bald. Especially when he compares himself to his father, Lucius, with his silvery mane. :)
