This was so great and so well characterized. I like Draco best when he's clever and capable and yet a little bit humbled; a perfect foil for a Hermione who is also clever and capable and open to the changes in him. The plot in this story was loads of fun and gave both Draco and Hermione a chance to shine, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved the image of Draco, in his pajamas, stuck in a shop of horrors. If anyone could tackle that trial and come out on top, it would be him. I imagine Borgin thought he was getting a bit of revenge for the notoriety that Draco brought to the shop- little did he know Draco was going get an assist from the brightest witch of her age!

Hermione was brilliant here, forging her own unexpected path. Of course she responded to a dire cry for help without even pausing to fix her poor hair. I imagine she enjoyed the challenge of helping Draco survive his month surrounded by cursed objects, with the added bonus of having ample opportunity to admire his backside.

I also thought it was terrific how much creativity you showed with the objects in the shop (the clown was especially horrifying for me!), from the items we remember from canon to new and terrifying things. And of course, I got a kick out of the humor during the will reading. Even those minor characters shone with vivid personalities.
