Well, the Nomination Phase has been open for 4 days, and the response has been absolutely incredible! 138 nominations at this point! In Round 1, we had just 17 nominations after a week - I cannot thank you enough for the incredible participation and support!!
We've got a few housekeeping things to mention.
1. Anonymous Nominations and Seconds on LJ are not accepted under any circumstance.
2. Nominations must be on the Nomination page. The same goes for seconds; they must be on the Pending page. They will not be accepted otherwise. There are no exceptions.
3. Please use the form provided when nominating. From this point onward, nominations will not be accepted unless they are in the correct format. This is a time-saving tool for the mods.
You will not be contacted if you make an error. These procedures are not difficult, nor are the requests unreasonable. Most of you are doing everything exactly right, but we felt a reminder was in order.
4. The rules for voting have changed.
As previously stated in the rules, the voter will still rank his or her top three choices, in order, and each vote will be given a certain number of points.
There will be restrictions, however; votes will not be accepted from Journals created on or after March 1, 2008. Voters must select three stories. Votes for single stories will not be accepted. If we even suspect that a story or a group of stories is being "ballot stuffed," that story will be disqualified.

These awards are meant to be fun for everyone involved, and a way for readers to be exposed to new authors and stories, and to recognize those stories that the general dramione community wants to recognize.
If you have any questions at all, or concerns about these rules, please leave a comment. They will be screened.
In addition, on Friday we will be switching the journal to "Contains adult content."
