Rules, Regulations, Categories & Other Important Stuff
General Rules:
- There are many types of art available to the Dramione community, not limited to manipulations or drawings. The Dramione Awards wishes to recognize the other side of the fandom, in addition to fanfiction. Without the beautiful manips, pictures, etc., the community would be much smaller and much less colorful.
- Should be a no-brainer, but this is a Draco/Hermione award community. All nominated art must contain either Draco, Hermione, or both as the main relationship. NO art with a romantic pairing other than Draco and Hermione
- Please read the FAQ before asking a question; your question may already be answered!

- Nominations for Round Two will begin January 7. There are two ways to nominate: the official nomination post (COMING SOON!) and through email to dramioneawards@gmail.com.
- THERE ARE NO SECONDS REQUIRED FOR ART AWARDS.

- PLEASE NOTE: we need the artist’s permission before we will post the nominated art, as we will be saving all art to our own hard drives. Therefore, we need a way to contact the author. LiveJournal accounts are sufficient.
- Important: If we do not hear back from the artist, we WILL NOT include the art in the awards.
- There are no categories.You will nominate art and we will sort them into categories once we have all the nominations.
- During nominations you may nominate an unlimited amount of art.
- The mods reserve the right to limit category size once all the nominations are in and to run a Preliminary Round.

A To promote the DM/HG ship and to reward those authors and artists whose stories and artwork the community of dramione fans wish to recognize.
Q Who provides the awards graphics?
A For Round Two, graphics will be provided by exosomatic. One For Round One, lovexfetish provided the graphics.
Q Who started this site?
A He Had It Coming! was created by Tonya. After a couple of rounds she handed the site over to Heidi, who ran it through round three and up to voting on round four. However, she soon when MIA and left the site without an administrator. juju_bean stepped in because she loved it too much to see it die, and because she knew other people out there wanted it to live.
floorcoaster took over the site in September of 2007 because she wants to see the excellent stories published since the last round get the recognition they deserve! We now have a wonderful team of people working with Floo: lovexfetish, elyaeru, kit_84, liltinybee, and drcjsnider.
Q Nominations have ended, but I forgot to get my nominations in. Can I e-mail them to you?
A No. Once nominations have closed, that's it. All other nominations and e-mails will be ignored.
Q Oops, I've posted an incorrect link to the nominated art. What do I do?
A Reply to your comment with the correct link, or e-mail it to me.
Q Which awards do you recognize?
A For Round Two, we plan to give awards for first place and runner-up. All nominees will receive a “Nominated for The Dramione Awards” graphic.

Phase One: Nominations
1. A post is created for people to nominate their favorite art in the appropriate categories.
2. People with LJ accounts cast votes in the community. Those without LJ accounts may email their nominations using the nomination form (email: dramioneawards@gmail.com)
3. Once the nomination period has ended, ALL nominated art (that has also been approved by the artist) will be sorted by the mods into categories.
4.Once the categories have been determined, they will be posted on the “Gallery” page, where voters can peruse the art and other Dramione media for two weeks prior to the start of voting.
---- The mods reserve the right to limit category size once all the nominations are in and to run a Preliminary Round.
5. A post will be created on LJ listing the art for the final vote. Links to each piece of art will be provided.
6. Voting begins.
Phase Two: Voting
1. A post is created on LJ for people to vote for their favorite art in the respective categories. Those without LJ may email their votes to dramioneawards@gmail.com using the following form:

2. After voting has concluded, winners will be announced on the community.
3. The awards will be posted on the community for the winners to pick up.

Categories:
As mentioned, the nominees will be sorted into categories for the final voting. Categories will be determined based on the media used (drawn art, paint, manips, pencil, etc.), content (kiss, comedy, angst, etc.), topical (banner, wallpaper, etc.) and whatever else we come up with.
In addition, we welcome Draco-only and Hermione-only art. If there is another character in the picture, it will not be accepted.
