Authors Notes: Character death. I finally have 100 words! I kept on exceeding the word count on my other drabbles. Mods, I don’t know if this is acceptable since it’s not purely D/Hr, although the main pair is still D/Hr.
She looks at the carved wood stonily. She didn’t cry when they start to lower the casket, shadows engulfing him. She knows that he hates seeing her cry that’s why she does not.
She slowly shifts her gaze to the man behind her. Green eyes behind round shaped spectacles. Her gaze lowers to her left hand; a reflection off a smooth surface catches her eye.
The man had proposed to her.
She doesn’t love him and she wonders if she could love another aside from the one shrouded in darkness.
But she needs him to keep the memories at bay.
