Hi! I've been dead for a long, looooong time, but I hope that you guys don't mind me dropping in suddenly here. :)
Well, I have a little DHr comic-ish thing to share with you guys. For those of you who are familiar with my work, this one is a little different from before--it's in color! Not only that, but it's a little serious as well. Anyways, here it is: When I Was Young. Coments/critiques definitely welcome!
Also, question (he he): What are your favorite DHr fics right now? They can be anything--the classics, the new--just tell me, and tell me why, too, but without too much spoilerage.
This is my excuse to get me some recs, as you can tell. :D
I managed to read some fics that I never have before nowadays, so you may not have heard of a lot of them--but I promise, they're all great. ;)
How to Cure the Common Cold (rated R) by rosdrise: I love love LOVE this fic. It starts out as a fluffy, I-hate-you-but-we're-thrown-together-and-stuff-happened-and-now-I-love-you DHr thing, but the end gets serious--really, really serious. The fic happens during book 6, and both Draco and Hermione are written In-Character (and by that, I mean canon-to-the-x'treme!). The smex is, of course, hot, and toward the end, deliciously angsty. A definite must-read!
Figure Eight (rated NC-17) by slytherinlinzi: To be honest, I was a little iffy about this at first. I thought that Hermione and Draco came together a little too early--more lead-up would have made the fic perfect. However, the plot is very original, and that's something rare in this fandom, considering the number of fanfics we have. The fic's very angsty, as well, and I think that the author pulls off the mood very well. A must-read for those wanting an angsty, fresh plot!
As Sharp as Any Thorn (rated NC-17) by Argosy: Again, a definite must-read! The characters are wonderfully IC, the plot is canon-compliant, and the plot is original. I love how Draco is portrayed as a person who wouldn't even trust himself--very interesting. LOVE it!
Breathe (rated PG-13) by Argosy: Yep, another masterpiece by the talented Argosy. This time, the central character is Hermione, and about how everybody depends on her--and she's sick of it. IC characterization, great plot. Read!!
Draco Malfoy Edits Fanfiction by formerlyknownasone: This is a ha-ha, cute fic that's great for getting our collective diaphrams a workout. As you can tell by the title, this little fic makes fun of our fanfiction--but in a positive way. You'll like the ending, I promise. ;)

Snow the Drama by konoreiatsu: This winner of draco-hermione-club at deviantArt is ADORABLE. Check it out!
Check out "reunited 1" here: A very funny piece by the talented makani. She usually hates Draco and Hermione, but she seems to have made an exception here. ;)
