[1.] What did you do in 2010 that you have never done before?
Con-Con. Sold jewelry.

[2.] Did you keep all of last year's resolutions?
Don't do resolutions

[3.] Have you any resolutions for next year?
Defend my MA essay, get a real theatre job.

[4.] What countries did you visit?
Continued to bounce back and forth between the US and Canada.

[5.] What would you like to have in 2011 that you didn't have in 2010?
Theatre work. For pay.

[6.] What date in 2010 will remain etched in your memory?
There aren't necessarily specific dates that stand out as dates...

[7.] What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I... don't really feel like I acheived much. I worked towards my MA.

[8.] What was your biggest failure?
Lack of work.

[9.] Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Have had a cold for the last two weeks. I basically feel fine now, but I keep coughing up green phlegm.

[10.] What was the best thing you bought?
The Complete Queen & Country. <3 <3 Tara Chace

[11.] Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Republicans. My students.

[12.] Where did most of your money go?
Beads, books, and BPAL. The three Bs...

[13.] What did you get really really really excited about?
Ashland trip with lornelover. Coming home at the end of term OMG. The Olympics

[14.] What songs will always remind you of 2010?
Anything Gaga, probably

[16.] What do you wish you'd done more of?
THEATRE.

Being in Canada.

[18.] How will you be spending Christmas?
Actual Christmas I spent being sick and watching movies.

fringeelement at PacificCon. zegeekgirl last week, FINALLY.

[20.] Did you fall in love in 2010?
Not really. I mean, with fictional characters a little, but not really.

Um... Yeah, no.

[22] What was your favourite TV show?
Law & Order|UK, followed closely by White Collar and Warehouse 13

[23.] Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
My hatred of congressional Republicans has grown, but it's not exactly new or anything.

[24.] What was/were the best books you read?
Queen & Country by Greg Rucka and The Parasol Protectorate books by Gail Carriger

[25.] What was your greatest musical discovery?
Um... I don't really know. Probably Nellie McKay or Orianthi. Or, I suppose, Gaga.

[26.] What did you want and get?
Harry Potter books.

[27.] What did you want and not get?
A job. Any theatre work at all.

[28.] What was your favourite film this year?
Possibly How to Train Your Dragon. Or Mao's Last Dancer

[29.] What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
Spent the day at my dad's office, picked up my brother at the airport, had dinner at Lucille's

[30.] What one thing would have made your year more satisfying?
THEATRE WORK OMG.

[31.] How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
I think I got more mature in my fashion. And also a bit more bohemian. More skirts, for sure.

[32.] What kept you sane?
Friends. My digital media player. Hockey.

[33.] Which celebrity did you fancy the most?
JAMIE BAMBER. (duh) Also, Rachel Maddow.

[34.] Which political issue stirred you the most?
DADT, healthcare, education.

[35.] Who did you miss?
Annette, constantly, Auntie Kimmie, all my friends who I never see.

[36.] Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned this year?
I learned that setting myself unecessarily strict deadlines means that I can procrastinate a little and still get things done ahead of when people expect.
