Its been (for here) blazing hot but clear skies have benefit.
Summer Stars

Bend low again, night of summer stars.
So near you are, sky of summer stars,
So near, a long-arm man can pick off stars,
Pick off what he wants in the sky bowl,
So near you are, summer stars,
So near, strumming, strumming,
So lazy and hum-strumming.
Ive been housesitting for the folks the last couple nights and smiled to see this in my inbox after I spent an hour last nite star and moon gazing. Its been late winter/ spring here with chills and lotsa fog and sky obscuring overcast until just this past week.
Tho with the hot box our new apartment can become (2nd floor lotsa windows to let the sun heat up the place going up AND coming down) expect this favorable opinion of the weather to change.
