An-chan!! I said I only needed two to three hours of sleep, not almost an entire day! Why didn't you come wake me up?!
Sounds like I missed a bit of entertainment.
I guess I'll go around and explore the place now. I suspect I'll be less likely to get lost when I'm no longer tripping over my own feet in exhaustion.
first day,
sleep

Isn't the first day of a vacation the designated 'relaxation' day? It sounds like you were working your sleeping schedule out? You... didn't miss much, I assure you.

There will be plenty of time for 'relaxation' later. We are on a cruise ship owned by the richest family in Japan. it would be stranger if someone wasn't curious about their surroundings.
It will take a few days of a forced schedule to get me back into a common sleep pattern. I'm used to going to bed around 4am and sleeping until around noon or one o'clock.
An's going to give me details later over lunch. :)

That's true, I wandered around a bit yesterday and I still feel like I've only scratched the surface. It's hard to believe something so large can stay afloat.
Y-you keep those kinds of hours? What sort of job are you doing that late?
... I see.

I think the first thing that came to mind was 'Titanic'.
Why, Oishi-san. What sort of job do you think I do that late at night?

I-I really wasn't sure, that's why I asked. I don't want to assume anything.

LOL. I do graveyard shift for a local radio station. Everything I do gets broadcasted to whoever happens to be listening.

Oh, radio! That makes sense. So you'll have a replacement at the station this week? Do you host a show?

Then again, our host hasn't actually turned up yet, either, has he?
Replacement?! They better not- Not really sure what they do for the graveyard shift when I'm not there. They probably just set up the randomizer. I don't actually have a show, just prompt and play requests and make sure the equipment doesn't fail. The night side isn't very active for the demographic my station appeals to.

I haven't seen Atobe around either, I wonder if he intends to make a dramatic entrance?
So it's not a station for 'party' music, I suppose. Either way, you're providing a much needed service-- I can't count the number of times I was only able to stay awake studying with the help of a radio.

I guess at one point, some of it could have been considered 'party' music. It isn't, by any means, all slow tones and classical music. The thanks is appreciated, Oishi-san.
