{ i mean this more than words can ever say... }

Only one day remains between me and the begining of the end.

Hey, my name is "dramaticpirate" for a reason, my friends <3

Yesterday was a bit of a bust. Rained all day -- not good rain, but poopy, half-hearted rain. Worked more on my room, threw more clothes out, re-discovered my Hobbit!shirt, started reading "Mayor of Casterbridge", jammed my finger against something, watched "Gone In 60 Seconds" - "the Simpsons" - "Family Guy" - bits of the VMA's.

I've said this before, and I'll say this again - they have GOT to start assigning us better books to read! Here is the history..
FRESH. - "Watership Down", includs fortune-telling bunnies -- got to page 90, SparkNoted the rest, wrote in my essay how much I disliked it, and still got a 'B'
SOPH. - "The Good Earth", drugs, sex & farming -- good read, I actually liked this one
JUNI. - "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" -- the misspellings & such were making my brain hurt, and I couldn't pay attention, so more SparkNote fun
SENI. - "Mayor of Casterbridge" -- man sells his wife & daughter -- I'm up to page 26 and loathe it so far :x

They should have us reading things like "Animal Farm", which was a really good book, plus you learn something, too. Or hell, even "Lord of the Flies" -- it is a bit disturbing, but is overall a good read.

Mmmm.. "Gone In 60 Seconds". What a flick. I love Nicolas Cage - he is such a good actor. He pwned in "The Rock", which is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. If you haven't it seen it, go out and get it. Now. GO FORTH, MY MINIONS!! So. I really want the car that they entitled 'Eleanor', for it really is a dead-sexy car.

Wow. James & I are now shocked that "Family Guy" hasn't had dozens of lawsuits. Funny show, but some of it is really mean, actually -- like at one bit they were running away from a guy in a wheelchair, and they see a fence, and the father proclaims "A fence! A cripple's natural enemy!" .. I can't remember most of it, but if you have ever seen it, you probably know what I'm talking about. They make a lot of famous references, and the majority of which are done in an extremely bad way. Odds are that they'd claim freedom of speech if a lawsuit ever came up, and claim that their Constitutional Rights are being violated if the lawsuit is pressed further.

On a random note, I really am getting nerd/dork/geek-ier by the day. When I was just randomly flipping through on the T.V. the other day (can't recall which day), I heard the word "anti-Federalists" and I was all "ZOMGWTFWHERE?!" And frantically flipped back to find the channel <3 Mr. Dumais's history class has ruined me forever!!

So. Final day of freedom. Hoping the sun will breakthrough, so that I can spend all day outside. Either way, I'm going to start making my t-shirts, read a lot, check my schedule at some point, and mayhap watch "Meet the Fockers".

&EDIT // Holy crap. I just watched "the Machinist". OMFG. Christian Bale is a skeleton in that movie. The fact that it is the same person from "Batman Begins" just blows my mind. Amazingly odd, but still good, even though it makes me sick to see people that thin.

Summer vacation is over, and that saddens me greatly :x
