I just now realized how truly nerdy I am: in my room, I have Harry Potter book-covers hanging next to Orgy CD covers hanging next to Johnny Depp posters. !!. I seriously have the most random crap on my walls, from book covers to posters to CD covers to concert tickers to fortunes to things we did in Applied Psych, which never cease to make me smile XD
So. As of late (a.k.a. today), I have actually been working on my room. !!. Yes, I am actually, actively cleaning my room. Granted, I keep stopping to throw things out & do laundry & hang things on my wall, but still. You can already see a difference, and I have re-discovered several things I thought I lost, so bam.
Today was boring, but yesterday was really fun. I went shopping with my brother James, and his ex-girlfriend/friend-person, Trista, otherwise known as Tris. I was in search of shirts & such at A.C. Moore, and he in search of plain shirts. We found him some stuff at Express, permanently scaring the life of a lady working there -- at one point he was bent over, tying his shoe, and Tris put a coupon down the back of his pants, to cover the "plumber's cleaveage", so in response he tightened his belt. The woman, of course, saw a girl bent over a boy who was fixing his pants.. and was all "ZOMG!! WTF ARE YOU DOING?!" Which amused me.
I'd never gone shopping with James before, and I must say -- it was hilarious. Tris & I were laughing the whole time, 'cause he kept muttering stupid comments. It was wicked fun. Sadly, I am now broke, since I had too much fun buying myself stuff.
Got "Moulin Rouge", "Meet the Fockers" & "Robin Williams - Live on Broadway" at Best!Buy + 4 shirts at Hollister + 5 plain shirts, five fabric paints, and an eight-pack of fabric markers at A.C. Moore + "I Rock the 80's!" shirt at Hot Topic.
All in all, a successful shopping trip.
