{ try to fix this tragic loss of innocence... }
I'm completely exhausted and my feet really hurt, but I am oh so happy. Why, you may ask? Well, let me tell you a story XD
I wake up, take the dog for a walk. Go home, get cleaned up, and go to the mall with my mom & James. Shopping proves to be damn pointless, for James wants 'plain shirts', which aren't exactly the most common things, plus my mom didn't seem to grasp the concept. We try 'Bob's' next, which was pointless as well. I discovered that they changed around the shoes I liked -- white Etnies with a green 'E' - they added a blue rim around the 'E' and the bottoms became blue, and the laces are blue. Not a fan of them. I did find two others pairs of shoes I liked, but of course one was $65, the other $75, so no go. Next stop is Marshall's, which was once again fruitless, despite me discovering these highlighter-pink 'Roos I liked. Attempted at Dick's, which was a waste, so James & I went to Media Play & I got myself some Pocky.
After our shopping failure, we went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. Grabbed an IC Caramel from work, and we went to see 'Red Eye', during which James discovered that modified IC Caramels are really good. 'Red Eye' was good, although the ending was kind of crap.
Moms dropped me off at Tiger's house, and from there Philthy picked us up, and we were off! TO THE WEBSTER. We called LeRoy on the way, to see if he wanted to go with us, but it was a no go. Concert turned out amazing. First band, called The Exit, were really good. We went outside during A Static Lullaby, for they truly put 'scream' in 'screamo', and were splitting my head open. During that time Philthy discovered that one of the bands he likes was there, but we missed their set. He ended talking to them, and they introduced themselves to us. They gave me a CD, and Tiger got us each a pin. YUSS.
We went back in for the RX Bandits, who were really good. I'd never heard them before, so I was a bit awed. After them, we went back outside, to discover some Suffield!KIDS were in attendance. !!. We saw Aaron Shelanskas during RX Bandits, and saw Chris Ewald & Veronica Nunes outside, and V-Ron told us that Lisa Pastula & Ashlee (can't recall her last name) were there, but we didn't see them. Tiger got an RX Bandits shirt, and I opted for a Finch shirt & an RX Bandits pin.
In once again for Finch, which was friggin' AMAZING. They played a good mix of songs, old and new, and I ended up singing along to almost all of them at the top of my lungs, head-banging the whole way. It was great <33
So. Took the dog for a walk, and was falling asleep on my feet. Brought her back, one of the cats decided to attack her, so in retaliation I left them in the Florida-room. I'm working from 12.00 P.M. to 05.00 P.M., with an eye appointment directly afterwards. Huzzah!
&EDITSUN --> OH NOES!! My new glasses won't be in for ten days, so odds are I won't have them for the first day of school, so now I have a decision to make -- take my senior pictures with my old glasses and then cut my hair before school starts, as planned, OR wait to take my senior pictures with my new glasses and not cut my hair until after OR just cut it anyways and risk not liking it, and thus not liking my senior pics..
Stupid, mini, doesn't really matter drama, but still. Drama nonetheless.
