< OOC > Our wonderful mod suggested posing a detailed history of our character if they're not exactly canon. This history can be found in Paige's profile page, but for easy access, here it is as well. < /OOC >

Paige was born twenty-two years ago to a very powerful witch named Lenore, who fell into an ill-fated love affair with a whitelighter. As the union between a witch and a whitelighter was never considered proper, the couple knew they had to separate and forever hide their love. Paige never truly met her father, but when he left his dearest love with a heavy heart he named Rose after his mother. As Paige grew up, her mother was forced to hide the fact that Paige was half-whitelighter. She would never have been accepted by the magical (or non-magical) communities if anyone found out what she really was.

While growing up, Rose knew she was different from the other children. Most of them didn’t have mothers who knew anything about witchcraft, and so she never really told her little friends about that part of herself. When her mother decided that she was old enough to learn a few things about her heritage, she sent her to a summer camp full of children with different magical powers. She went to this camp for four years, between the ages of eight and twelve. The children were taught the history of their different powers, and how some would gain more powers along the path of their lives.

High school passed in relative peace; Paige was quite popular and was in various musical programs. She was part of every theatrical production throughout her high school years and she even joined the cheerleading squad as well. She was known as the “non-cheerleader cheerleader,” because she had friends in every single clique in the whole school. Naturally, she won the honors of Homecoming Queen and Prom Queen, as the whole student body seemed to love her. She graduated the salutatorian of her class, proving that she had brains as well as beauty. Even though she was usually focused in school, her thoughts would always seem to turn back to the father she never knew.

After her high school graduation, she began to ask her mother about her father. Since she didn’t have to focus on school again until she went to college in a few months, she could put her mind on other things. She had asked many questions as she was growing up but she saw how much it pained her mother to talk of him, so she always stopped her inquiries. But now, since she was technically an adult, she felt she had the right to know about the father she never knew, and probably never would get the chance to know. Her mother told her of her great affection for, and forbidden romance with, her whitelighter love. She told Paige how love between a whitelighter and a witch was very looked down upon at the time, and they had to keep their very history a secret.

Paige decided then and there that she would never hide her past from anyone. She was proud of who she was, and of the father that she had never met. She began to work more in-depth on the power of orbing that she found she had when she was younger. After years of training, she had become very skilled in her technique. She was so accomplished in her power that she knew her father would be proud of her, wherever he was. She also found that she had the power of healing as well, but as she was only a half-whitelighter the power was highly unreliable but still very possible in dire circumstances. Today, Paige is a college graduate with a double degree in psychology and education. She is moving to Seattle, Washington to become a high school guidance counselor. Otherwise, she is a very healthy half-witch/half-whitelighter, and she is quite proud of her heritage.
