The new Broken Social Scene album is just the cd I've been waiting for. It makes me happy and makes rush hour traffic semi-bearable.
The Taming of the Shrew opens Friday night at Theatre Jacksonville. I know people are wary of Shakespeare, but this adaptation is extremely cut and definitely more understandable than most Shakespearean productions. Plus, it's only $5. Please come see it. It's funny.
I'm going to Atlanta in October for Penny's birthday and to go see Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Then I found out today that Wilco is opening for The Rolling Stones on the same night. I really wish I had known about this earlier.
Once my show opens, I'm going to stop being such an old fuddy-duddy and actually hang out and maybe stay up late on work nights. And this I swear.
