I'm having serious Monday blues right now. If I could be doing anything other than sitting here at my desk, I think I'd be happy.
I want a cigarette right now.
Not that it's really important or anyone really cares, but I got nominated for a Pelican Award as Best Actor for "Red, Hot & Cole." The Pelican Awards are Players-by-the-Sea's annual awards. It probably doesn't help me that I'm the youngest person in my category and that I'm nominated for a musical, as people tend to give these awards to people who do "serious" plays, like "The Lion in Winter." I will, however, have fun at the awards ceremony and proceed to get as drunk as possible, and more likely than not make a complete ass of myself.
If the phone rings one more goddamned time, I will either stab a pen into the eye of the closest person to me, or my own.
I have to learn a comedic Shakespearean monologue by next Monday, and I don't wanna.
