Woe
I can't remember the last time I had a legitimate crush on someone. Not even a silly girl crush that you know won't get you anywhere. It's kind of ridiculous.
I spent yesterday with a girl who is very much smitten and once we parted ways I started thinking, "I could do that! I could be smitten!"
Half a block later I was catcalled and when I ignored the catcaller I was promptly pounced on. It was this loser from the x-country team who used to come up to me in the hallways and whisper "have sex with me!" in my ear. Moving on, my classy follower RAN up behind me, slapped my purse to the ground and took the strap of my shirt with him in his hand. Upon collection of my wits I accepted his apology but was prompty disgusted once again when he decided to make an off-colour remark about my face...? He apologized again saying that wasn't the way it was supposed to come out, and then I told him that maybe the next time he planned on talking to me he should make a script. Then he proceeded to ask me where I live and followed me home making another off-colour remark, this time about the fact that I must be poor because I live in a duplex.
The next time I make any sort of promise to myself I will write down my exact motivation for making such a promise.
In this case:
DEAR ACCEPTABLE BOYS,
PLEASE FORM A LINE TO MY LEFT. DO NOT PUSH, SHOVE, OR ATTEMPT TO WOO ME WITH BLATANT INSULTS.
