Im sure no ones Friday the 13th was anything like mine!!!!!!!
So im driving out to Michigan to go to Somerset Mall at around 3:45pm I leave Canada. The border was crazy backed up. I call Derek up to find out whats going on tonight, he had to work till late so he mentioned how I probably wouldnt end up seeing him. So I was already bummed out because I really wanted to see him. I get across the border the guys being an asshole, he asks me if i've ever had problems entering the USA. I say no besides the one time my paper work got screwed up. He was about to write me up one of those damn papers to get searched until I explained what happened a few years ago and he let me go. I get on 1-75 traffic was crazy I hate rush hour on a Friday afternoon. I finally get to somerset I was suppose to meet Dana there with Marcus but Dana couldnt go because she had to pick classes so my friend Marcus ended up coming out with me. I had some stuff to return and he had to buy his mom perfume. We also ended up walking around the mall about 50 times because we were bored. It was definately an exercise. I ended up leaving there around 6ish I called Dana up to find out what she was doing. Her ,Rachel and I all went to Applebees. Before that I started to notice the roads were starting to get bad. I already thinking to myself how absolutely screwed I am driving home tonight. So Applebees was so much fun. I was super outgoing with the waiter, not that I liked him or anything, I was just being nice. I totally think he thought I did though. So I end up getting mozz sticks with an oriental wrap the wraps suck out there! Anyways I had 3 glasses of Mountain Dew. Thats like me having 4 vodka sevens. I was so high off of the caffeine it was insane. I couldnt stop laughing we were all drinking Mountain for that purpose. Marcus and Connrad ended up meeting us there and after that the waiter kinda wasnt being really nice anymore. He was weird. So Mark called my cellphone a few times but it kept dying. Bill and all of them wanted me to go out to Ann Arbor to the gay bar. I really didnt want to go besides the fact to see all my bois. My phone kept dying and I couldnt figure out howw the hell to get to Dan's house in Westland to meet up with all of them. Mind you before even going to Applebees I called up Derek again, he wasn't sure if he was going to have to go back to work that night and I told him I might just end up going home. Anyways, so I find from Conrod that I need to take telegraph but thats all the directions I got. Everytime Mark or Dan tried calling my phone as I was driving along Telegraph it would just die. So I finally get a hold of Dan's dad and he tells me to take 1-94 to Marriman then my phone dies. I thought I was getting onto 1-94 and ended up on a different road. So now im driving all in Dearborn at 11 at night. I go to a 7eleven, mind you I have to pee really badly but the 7eleven didnt have public washrooms. I buy a calling card, I call Bill to find out what Dan's # is I end up getting it, I try calling but I couldnt get a hold of him. I end up going to KFC to use the washroom, there closed. I go to Taco Bell, I get directions to how to get to Westland and I tried calling everyone on the lady that works there cellphone, I couldnt get through to anyone. I find out im really close to Westland she gave me directions up to Marriman. On my way there, there were three police cars one after the other with there sirens I was freaking out and felt real safe! I finally get to another payphone, which is outside in the middle of no where, I was really scared. I call Dan he told me not to move and he would be on his way to pick me up. I waited an hour and no one showed up. My calling card was now out if minutes because of all the calls I tried to make. I tried calling Dan again with a quarter, but phone required 50 cents. I was short 1 american quarter I couldnt believe it!!! So im about to go back to Canada but the roads are just horrible. I drive to another 7Eleven and ask the man if I could use his phone for a local call. I finally get to talk to Dan and there all on there way to get me. By now I dont even want to go out!!! I finally meet up with them at midnight. I wasnt driving around for 3 hours alone. I end up using Bill's phone to check my messages. I had alot of missed calls, one being my mom. My parents hate hate hate that I drive out to Michigan alone so because I never called her they freaked out. I call her back at midnight pretending im back in Canada and im at Bills house and my phone died. Really I was obviously still in Michigan.She was like you are never to go out there again, and yadda yadda I dont know who they aretrying to tell me what to do at the age of 22 !! I find out my mom called Dana, Derek's sister to find out where I was. Im like are you joking me, my parents still like to play this game. So I call Derek to find out Dana's # because I didnt know it off by hand. It turns out he is in Ann Arbor at the Frat house and wants me to stop in. I was kinda pissed about that whole situation. So I call Dana, tell her my story. I get to the parking garage downtown Ann Arbor to go to the bar. I decided I was just going to go to the Frat house, I love my bois but kinda over the gay bar scene. So Dan drove my gar from Westland to Ann Arbor because the roads were bad. As im leaving the parking garage I realize I dont have my parking ticket. I have to pay 18.50 if I lost my ticket that was my exact change that I had so I had no more american left on me. I get to the Frat house and im with all my american boys! I love those guys! So im in a better mood now after letting out how fuckin horrible my day was!!! I was suppose to drive mark back to Canada but Bill did instead. I stayed at Derek's apartment last night, we finally get there at like 330am. I wake up for 730 because I didnt want to hit traffic. I got lost and ended up right back in Ann Arbor. My gas tank was almost empty, I had no money left but Canadian, Derek wanted to give me money but I hate taking money from people. So I finally get back to Canada at 830!!! Nothing like a damn Friday the 13th for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time im staying home!
