(no subject)
I woke up rather late today...at around 12:30 and felt like I had already wasted the day. A lot of it seemed to have just slipped by by the time I was finally able to go out.
After buying my Dad a jamba juice with an immunity boost (since he feels that he is coming down with something)), Lily and I attempted to do the last of my Christmas shopping...but it seems like I'm just failing at it. Take whatever number tomorrow.
After that it was to CPK and then we saw this movie, Capote, that I had been half-hoping to see for awhile. Since Lucy mentioned it when it came out in New York. I'd really like to read In Cold Blood now...just to see how the emotions shown in the movie come out in the book. It was well done, I felt, and moving. But perhaps I am too empathetic for my own good.
Anyways, I would recommend it to anyone who is a Capote fan...or wants some sort of a murder tale.
Oh...we also went to the Beat...and there was this guy who kept watching us. It was a little weird...and I couldn't help but redden and smile whenever I caught him. And then make remarks about it.
I miss that Shoelaces boy.
