(no subject)
Last night, I took a turn a bit too tightly and my tire brushed against the pavement curb. Unfortunately, this particular curb just happened to have a metal drainage grate on it, and my (brand new) tire just happened to ram right up against a sharp corner on its edge, leaving a heavy dent and a nasty puncture that deflated it immediately. I had to get up 3 hours early this morning to have it replaced, so I ran a few other errands while I was out.
Since my keyboard is also shot to hell from when Rinoa spilled water on it, I had to get another one of those, and while I was at it, I picked up a set of headphones, and a flatpanel monitor for my PC, since my own monitor is getting disturbingly close to the point of no return. The new monitor leaves plenty of room for my cat to roam without spilling more water, or so I hope. Yeargh, tired now.
I'm also looking forward to Chris's next few Alternity sessions... It looks like it's gonna shape up to be a nice horror bit in the hospital, followed up by our (over?)ambitious hijacking of the Sylph, a major high-class ship to replace our own hunk of junk.
