tough times
today was a tough day. i had work from 7-12. my philosophy class seemed to take FOREVER. then i gave a campus tour. and then i went to musical theatre ensemble. now, the whole emailing that went on this weekend was how every part was equal blah blah blah. well....we get to musical theatre ensemble and lucy had 70 lines and i have 8. and those are exact numbers people. nevermind shroeder and sally's lines or should i say lack there of. emily only has her song...pretty much same as andy. so after class we all pretty much lost all happiness and we depressed going to anything goes rehearsal. well, after rehearsal rob asked to talk to me. so i explained what was meant by my rash email. and he said he was very happy that i emailed him my thoughts and he said that he felt that the doctor is in is better than shroeder cuz its longer and more fun to play with and he said he was giving me all of lucy's part in book report. and then he said that marianne like the way i read today and that off the record lucy had waaay too many lines and she was thinkin of cutting it up more. well i come home and i have 2 emails from marianne. one of them being to me and christine and she's giving me 4 of lucy's scenes. and then i had another email from marianne saying this:

In talking to Rob about your email he stressed that the reason we cast it the way we did was that he felt the Doctor song was a far better song than the Schroeder song. That was the reason we gave you Patty. Also, you will have the majority of the Lucy part in the Book Report song. Please remember that this is just a class and technically shouldn't be put on a resume! But, if you do, you may certainly put Lucy as your role and when listing Little Shop, put one of the three urchin names from the script. You ARE playing those roles even though we have changed the name. Hang in there. This class should be for fun (especially at one credit) and I don't want you to lump it in with the heavy stuff you are dealing with. You will still stand out in the show as you always do!

so to say the least, i guess i'm happy again. im very unhappy about emily. she has no lines...and she has a lead. this show was not cut up equally. im not gonna be happy about this...but at least my part has improved a little bit. well, i must go and memorize my monologue for acting class. tomorrow i have character study at six flags tomorrow!!! *blood suckin cannibal-GO* haha....
