so many people left today for school. kevin, eric, kevin whipkey, ben....and i still have another week....
well, thursday night- me, katie, christina, nick, kevin, corrine, jake and marco went to boston to see The Last 5 Years. i liked the way the blocked it...the turn table was a good idea (when it didnt get stuck) but i wasnt a fan of the actors. first of all-cathy wasn't a belter. made me sad. then both actors had this thing with closing their eyes. HELLO?? if the audience can't see your eyes, then they can't understand the character and the story you're telling! lol, other than that, the show was really good. afterwards we came back to my house for a party. Missy, Landry, and Bruce came over so we were all having a blast, and then the most unexpected person came to say goodbye. KEVIN WHIPKEY. god did i miss him. i wish quigs was there to say bye to him. it was good to see him. made me think...in just little time i'll be the one graduating from dean and leaving....kinda scary.
well, yesterday me and missy woke up and went to six flags for our audition. it was casual, which helped my nerves. now, it was only an acting audition. but on the audition form it asked who my fav singer was and if i had experience...so of course i wrote idina and wrote my experience down. well, when my number was finally called and i went in, he was like "ahhh idina" and im like ya...hehe. and he asked me if i've seen wicked, and i was like, unfortunately no, but i love the music. and he said that all the singers warm up to wicked backstage and he asked me to sing for him! so i was like, sure :) so i sang the wizard and i. i'm very excited to be doing this. they are hiring 110 actors, and he seemed to really like me and missy. so that went well :)
last nite we had the dessert get-together for the phantom cast to watch sunday's performance. at first i really couldn't watch myself be a fool. cuz i was...i was a fool. and then i had to realize that it wasn't me...it was carlotta. that's how in character i was....its like, i dont remember myself being on stage doing that part. it was her coming out but using my body. oh how i love acting. lol. the show was good. i cant wait to get my copy :)
don't really have plans tonite. im going to audition the holiday spectacular then im working 4-9. so, how bout you give me a call with plans tonite :) until next time lj....
