Much, Much Better
Phew!
Drama Prince and I both woke up feeling much, much better today. My voice back 90%. I can't shout or project with any force. Fortunately my ampitheater engagements are few and far between this week.
One of the upsides of being sick is that while DP is napping, I feel justified in lazing on the couch and watching TV on DVD. My latest obsession has been Angel, which I finished yesterday.
Despite the open-ended finale, I think S5 is tied with S2 as my favourite season. IMHO, S2 had a stronger overall story arc, but S5 had some of my favourite individual episodes. Furthermore, I loved, loved, LOVED the interplay between Angel and Spike. Especially the homoerotic subtext, which according to Joss Whedon is completely intentional. "The Girl In Question" was one of my favourite episodes of anything ever. I don't care that it's been rated as one of Angel's weakest -- I adored it!
Since DP is napping and my lunch is staying down, I can either get some writing done or procrastinate some more. Which will I choose?
