To Whom It May Concern: Winter Blather Edition

Jan 16, 2007 16:25

Thank heavens you're back! I know, I know. You and I haven't gotten along that well in the past. And I'll admit, when you didn't show up at the end of November I was pretty pleased. At first. But after a couple of weeks I got nervous. When there wasn't any snow on the groud by Christmas, I started to get frightned. I began wondering if we weren't tottering on the verge of environmental apocalypse. In my mind I saw the end of the planet unfold like the plot of some horrid summer blockbuster: at first people would revel in the mild temperatures. However, by May the mercury would be hovering in the mid-forties and we'd all realize that it was becoming hotter and hotter...and HOTTER!
You may not be pleasant but the truth is, Cold and Snow, that you represent normal climatic activity for this part of world at this time of year. So welcome back! I look forward to cursing your existence for months to come.

I appreciate the attempt to make your instructions simple and universally understood. However there is such a thing a too little information. For example, one graphic which is the fully assemble product -- too little information.

I know the city is covered in a blanket of snow. I know it's next to impossible to see the lines in the parking lot. Might I suggest that placing your vehicle horizontally across three spots is not a constructive solution. Might I also suggest that you are a dumbass.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't believe you lugged my Pack N' Play all the way out to my car even though there was a blizzard and even though you had no coat to put on. And what' more you were full of smiles and politeness. I hope that when my son is your age he's as nice as you. But I also hope that he will wear his coat. At any rate you made my day, mysterious Toys R' Us stockroom boy! I blog you, that I might never forget you.

Yours,
