Dear Thursday,
It's busy day ahead. A full day at VE, follwed by an evening of hosting/performing at the poetry slam. Bearing this in mind, I humbly request that my sore throat get better, not worse over the course of the day. I, of course, will do my part by drinking gallons of tea and resisting any urge I might have to holler at work*. If you cannot see your way fit to improve the state of my throat, I will settle for maintenance of its current status: Sore but tolerable.
