(no subject)
Generally on Monday mornings, my mom leaves for the airport around 6am.
This morning, I woke up and heard her in the living room. After the sun had risen.
It was like 8:30 and she was still here and I started freaking out that she missed her flight.
Apparently Delta called. They cancelled her flight this morning and she left around 4 this afternoon.
I went back to bed.
I drove my mom to the airport today, but that was pretty much it.
The evening consisted of TV, knitting and the Sims.
I can't wait to move back to Tally.
Big day tomorrow.
Gotta run some errands and then pick up my dad from the Tampa airport.
I told him tonight that I swear, I must spend half my life driving to and from airports.
I think we're gonna have a little get-together this Friday.
It's Jason's last weekend in town, and I'm leaving next weekend.
So it'll be our end-of-summer barbeque/swimming/halo day.
For some reason I find it funny that we did it at the beginning of the summer and now we'll do it at the end.
I love french vanilla cappuccinos.
I decided to make myself a cd, since I'd been planning on it for a while, for my trip to Tampa tomorrow.
While I was working on it, I remembered that I have a lightscribe in my laptop.
(If you don't know, it's a program that uses the cd burner to label the top of disks. You just design the label, flip over the cd and burn it right on the top.)
So I played around with it and made it all pretty and put it on the cd.
I was actually pretty proud of myself when it was done.
It looks awesome.
Of course, it only does grayscale images, but still. Awesome.
