I have been studying for three days straight, with nothing concrete to do. This has amounted to me basically sitting in my room for three days staring at my computer or at books and my horribly written notes, with only momentary breaks like seeing "The Holiday" with Jillian or running out to get Kelly a birthday present. I hate not having anything concrete to do, and I also hate the feeling of working and working without feeling like I've accomplished anything because I have yet to have an actual final. Of course, my obnoxious semester has to end with an equally obnoxious finals schedule. I mean, why wouldn't I have three finals within the last three days of the finals period, so while everyone else has some of the burden being lifted by tests yesterday and today, I have to continue studying, hoping I don't forget all the work I did on the first few days by next Wednesday. Bah! Plus, Stephanie is going home today, which makes me really, REALLY want to go home. One more day of nothing, then a final a day, then a flight home. It can't come soon enough. If I have to read about media mergers and acquisitions, the spanish subjunctive tense, or the counterculture of the '60s for much longer, I might explode.
