Church tonight was good. It really made me take a second look at my prayer life. It's so true want Andy Stanley said tonight. When I pray it's all about me and what I need and what I want. "But when you pray go into your room, shut the door, and pray to your father who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what you have done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep babbeling on like the pagans, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him" (Matthew 6:6-7)
It's not about me.
My focus has changed. As I do my quite time I have been on a search for intimacy with God. Through that I have learned that I just need to be satisfied. Satisfied, exlusively, with Him and the life that he has prepared for me. So that is what I am working towards. complete and total satifaction and peace.
