After 20 long hours in the car, about 10 rest room stops, 7 "are we there yet?"s, 3 days on the beach, 1 shopping trip, 2 seafood dinners, lots of sunburn (basically all mine in the weirdest places..), tons of sunscreen, so much aloe vera gel it was crazy, 2 "If you get any prettier I am going to set you up with one of my grandchildren"s, 3 Happy Early Birthdays, 1 evening walk on the beach, 2 ten minutes phone calls, countless laughs, so many pictures, about 74525266780 dog walks, 3 magazines, 1 shower scrubbing, lots of dish loading, lots of video taping, thousands of waves, less than ten hugs, 5 stops to the nearest Food Lion, 4 skirts (One got Italian dressing up it and it stained my underwear), 1 room (for me and Jenny and Sam to share, haha not a good idea), 2 lunches on the beach, many "I miss you."s, plenty of "I love you."s, 6 nice old people I met (lol), 1 wink, lots of acting stupid, 1 pilgrim sighting, 2 times we almost got lost, and too many goodbyes, I'm bAaAAaaAAaAaaacCCccCccccCCCcCcCCCCkKKKKkKKkkKkKKKkKkKkK!
Did you miss me? Gosh I missed it here. It's funny I don't really appreciate this place until I leave it. It feels so good to be home. The beach is so perfect and it even though I love it there and I am so use to being there it makes me feel out of place, and I just needed to come back to my craziness.
I love the beach, I always have. I love visiting my grandmas house. Its so perfect. She lives in the kind of neighborhood (it has over 600 houses in it) that you see on tv. You know, the kind where all the houses look almost the same and they have "Best Lawn" compititions, and everyone is friendly to one another. I love the way her house is. Every room is so pretty, its one thing I can count on that will never change. She has this screen in back porch and the last day I was there my dad cooked this big seafood dinner we ate it while sitting on her porch. It was nightfall so we ate by candlelight, well Sam and I had our own table and we ate by lamplight but you get the general idea. Every morning I'd wake up and it would be such a pretty morning and we'd eat on the back porch and then take our time and get ready and go to the beach. I loved it. I hated leaving. I wish I could take Fairmont there or bring the beach here. Yeah. One of those.
I have decided I'm going to take up golfing. Lol don't ask.
Oh yeah we saw these pilgrims in Virginia but don't ask about that either.
It was so much fun and I can't wait to go back for Thanksgiving.
I am the kind of person that doesn't deal well with change, I attach to things easily, I like routine, I don't like big suprises (unless they're good ones). Thats why I missed it so much here. Because there it was so different.
But I'm home now. And now I miss my perfect.
