What a day....
Oh jeez. I spent soooo much money today. Like...around $300. Not including my homecoming dress, which I hadn't even planned on buying. But my stepmom came up and she heard that I found a cute polka dot dress so she made me come back and try it on. It didn't work out but ten dresses later I found the dress! Finally....I was so exhausted and the line to the fitting room was ridiculous.
Anyway...Jamie spent the night last night and we got up in the morning to hit the mall. We got there around 9:40 and realized the mall didn't open til 10, so we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and bought a robe with a gift card I had from Christmas. It's soooo soft! And then we took pictures in that little photo booth thing, they are totally lame, but that's what they're supposed to be I guess. Then we hit AE where I spent $67 on two pair of jeans...outrageous. But AE jeans are worth it, especially these ones. Then we hit other stores...spent more money. I bought 2 pairs of shoes which I don't need but I couldn't resist, it was buy one get the other half off so I bought two for $30, and went to Claire's and spent $25 on jewelry.....and then went to Old Navy. Together we spent $90 but they had this sale where if you spent more than $75 you get $15 off...so we put ours together and spent $75 altogether...which was about $35 each. Which is good for the stuff we got. Then we hit Kohl's. Had much luck there just like every other store. Bought yet another pair of shoes. They're black flats, they are cute, and I have wanted a pair of them for the longest time. Anyway....bought some clothes....and spent about....$60 there. And after all of that...nope, we weren't finished. We went to Target and found some cute tops and shoes (not me, no worries (-:) and slippers (hey I got a robe, why not slippers?) and a really awesome red purse and other stuff. Spent like $33 there. Then we ate Wendy's with my dad, stepmonster, and stepbro. And got drug to Group Usa to start the dress nightmare. So anyway....the grand total comes to....including photbooth, forget tax, and forget the stuff I had to have my dad pay for since I ran out of money.......$252....and I went with $260...and I have $4 in my wallet. The AE stuff I am being reimbursed for, and maybe some other stuff depending on how generous my stepmom is feeling. It's a lot of fricken money....but I got some great stuff. Hello Senior Year! lol Anyway....that was my day. Congrats if you read it all. It almost didn't happen because I got in a big fight with my dad over getting my license last night and he called the whole thing off. So thanks to Jamie we went cuz he didn't want to tell her we couldn't go. That would have been a real ass thing to do. lol Thanks James (hehe)!
I am hanging out with my mother tomorrow....I'm going to practice parking. I'm planning on taking my road test soon after segment two which is at the end of the month. I drove today, didn't do too bad for not driving in awhile. I really think I can pull it off, I'm not a bad driver. Except when I peel out in the Jeep but that was for our own safety! lol I hate that road. Anyway....I will drive tomorrow and my mom will tell me if I'm ready, she was a road test examiner after all. Well I am going to go...don't have much to talk about anymore. I need to rest. I have never shopped so much in my entire life. Well...in one day at least....all my money.....agh, gone. Wel I still have $600 in the bank....I'll be sure to keep it that way until I get a job again. lol We'll see how well I do with that. SEE YA!
