And how very interesting it is!
So, I'm sitting here in the library...during the summer...just cuz I don't wanna be at home. It's not really my scene right now. They are partying it up & that's just NOT what I am feeling right now. Especially since I had a splitting headache last night and they kept me up, like, all night. So, that blew. But, whatever. I'm not mad...I just don't want to be there. It's still the first week of summer...all I want to do is sleep.
But, I did pretty good for my first year at Ole Miss. I finished up the year w/ a 3.0. Didn't think I was gonna make that one. But, I did...so, luckily, I just did save my scholarships. I ended up w/ 2 As, 1 B, and 1 C @ the end of the semester. Whoot!!
I quit Claire's on Sunday. Yeah...I'm just going through jobs up here in Oxford like it ain't no thang. I think my internal goal is to work at every business in Oxford before I leave. Because I'm getting there. I'm on my 4th job in less than a year. Yeah...that looks pretty bad on applications. But, if I can find a job where someone doesn't make my life hell...I'd stick w/ it. Cuz WalMart...right after Katrina...they would NOT let me have 2 consecutive days off to go see my family and make sure everything was alright. That's bullshit. And Kroger's accused me of stealing money from them before checking the facts. That's bullshit. And Claire's...the manager was a raving bitch. That's bullshit.
So, now I'm working at the Call Center w/ Brandon soliciting money from alumni. Hopefully, that won't be bullshit. Ahhh...anyways...
My tummy is rumbly. I want some food in it real bad. So...I think we're gonna go do that. I'm so glad Brandon is anti-partying like me. It's one of the reasons that makes us so compatible.
