My third anniversary has come and gone in the past week. I'm still with Jake, and I plan on that not changing anytime in the near (or far) future.
At the same time my bathroom crew ended, and we went our seperate ways. It was a hard day for me to see all my great people go off to their normal school year jobs. I took it very badly and actually started crying over them all leaving. They were such a great crew this year. Honestly, in the 4 years that I've done this they were the best yet. No other crew will ever top them.
I had to bribe my boss with cookies today after 3 hours of doing nothing on the "easy" crew I was leading and being bored out of my mind. Awful. It was awful. Thus, I'm still up finishing baking cookies so that I follow through on my part of the deal to be switched to the paint crew.
They want to offer me a temp position if I postpone classes for another year/ semester/ whatever. The money would be nice, but I just need to wrap it up here and start looking for stuff out of state once I'm done. This is going to be a hard decision. I'm still thinking about it.
Other than that, the remainder of the bathroom crew + others we can convince to come out are heading to Crunchy's to do a bucket (or two) of beer this Friday. Call my cell and let me know if that sounds good to you.
