My last two days have been fairly wonderful (failing that calculus exam aside). It's amazing how quickly your perspective on things can change. I've felt so overworked and stressed lately, but now, the exams, the applications, the grades, none of it really seems to matter that much anymore. Second semester is going to be heaven.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. I got into Yale, as you can probably surmise. I still don't know if that's where I want to go, but I'm so thankful to have that option.
Today, we went to Chatanooga for my cousin's wedding. I love weddings. Everyone's just so happy. Honestly, it's impossible to be angry or sad or upset when you see those two together. I love Kara to death and never thought she'd find someone good enough for her, but she managed it somehow. Phil is the nicest, most down-to-earth, goofiest guy ever.
But the best part of the wedding had to be Phil's college buddies getting him a t-shirt that said "I'm having sexual intercourse tonight." I've never seen him that red! And cutting a rug with my cousins was fun. Stephen has to be the worst dancer I've ever seen! But he does look like he's having a lot of fun while he's doing it.
So, everything is good. Christmas is coming. People fall in love and get married. Life is pretty great.
