Last night was so amazing. My friend's boyfriend invited a few of us to the amazing jam-session open-mic house party his friend was having and it was one of the coolest things I've ever been to! They had a group of musicians, keyboard players, a sax player, a drummer and a really hot guitarist who looked exactly how I imagine James Potter would

eee I hope I can capture him properly!! He was just so perfect, I can't even explain it. He was kinda skinny and had sorta shaggy hair and square glasses and I kept oogling him all night because nnghhh. yes.

Ooo, he sounds lovely! I seemed to have developed this thing for James (wonder whose fault that is)... so yes, can't wait!

I think they recorded last night, but I have no idea how to get a copy of it (or if it'd be any good), but I do have a recording from my college a cappella group that I have a small solo on. Lean On Me My part starts with "you just call on me, sister"

It's not the greatest quality, as it's a live performance (and we didn't know we were being recorded), but this spring, we're putting out a CD, so I'll have some better recordings (and a solo song which I'm really excited about).
