tastes like chicken
It's been nutso around here what with the engagement party last weekend and the meeting of the families etc, but I think everything turned out really well. Except maybe for the fact that somehow we now own twenty-two wine glasses because three of our guests decided it was a good idea to get us wine glasses for a gift (which is was, because we only had two before the party!). We've decided to keep them all, though, because I break glass objects like a mofo and therefore we should have back-ups. lol
Also, (vegans cover your ears/eyes) my sister and my high school best friend (who is practically my sister) got us the best engagement gift ever- THE BACON OF THE MONTH CLUB. Bacon. Of. The. Month. *squee*
Seriously, bacon is my favorite food ever, and we're going to get special awesome artisan bacon from like, heirloom breed super-pampered organic pigs or whatever delivered right to our house! Twelve months of bacon! I totally flailed when they told me. I mean, I know I'm totally going to gain weight, which is probably not great on the Wedding Dress front, but I really can't bring myself to care because BACON! NOM NOM NOM.
And, y'know, I'll let Julian have some, too. :p
