Cause theres no one left for us to blame
So.
In a nut shell, my trip has been interesting. It started with Hertz rental car company anally fisting me something fierce. I mean, who changes a reservation time to better fit company time and DOESN'T contact the renter? Bad business. So I rented a Chevy Cobalt from Enterprise, and I'm just now filling the tank for the first time.
I left my credit card at home, so Christmas shopping was minimal. And Enterprise holds $250 on my $70 rental, which also sucks. But I got it all done and with money left to spend on myself. Not much money, but it's still there.
I got a camera and a Costco membership card from Dad and the family. Amanda and Ryan didn't get to open their presents, which made me kinda sad.
I spent a lot of time with Diane, Benny, and the Pert. Actually, a lot of time with Diane. I haven't been able to connect with the Panda at all. The only spare time she had she was drained or I was already busy, which totally sucked. I had this nice bottle of wine and everything. But she's a busy lady.
Today, I woke up in kind of a funk. I drove around for a bit, spent time at my dad's and then, surprisingly, ended up hanging out at Katrina's house. Met her new dogs, caught up with Mom and Eric, ran into Krystal and met Charlie Danger aka the Beast. I miss that family. They're good people and were good to me.
I wasn't able to get together with everyone that I would have liked to. And there are those that I've just come to realize aren't the quality person I thought they were. But then again, there are those who are better than I could have ever imagined. People I wish I could have seen, and those who I'm really glad I did. What really sucks is knowing full well that I'm being ignored by some people. It makes me realize what totally being flaked on feels like. I know I've done it to a lot of people in the past. I guess this is Karma being a bitch. But it made me decide that I probably won't be coming back to visit anytime in the near future.
So here's to being done with Orange County for a while. Davi, Bennie, Pert, Kat, Family, Ryan, Brandon and your giant bronze Orc...thanks for making it better.
