So.
I finally got up the nerve yesterday, after my mom called me a coward for not doing it first thing in the morning, to tell James that my last day in the apartment would be the 15th of October. I ended up just kind of hanging around his works back dock for about half an hour until I finally got up the nerve to do it. He actually took it rather well. I mean, he wasn't totally psyched about it, but he was just kind of cool. So my October rent will be about 525, then up to 650 from then on out.
So part of Operation: New Year is under way. Next I want the Correctional Deputy position I just applied for. There's a lot more room for advancement in that department, and I get academy training, which will help get me in shape. In case you haven't noticed, these are some of the big changes in October I was talking about.
And sadly, all aspirations of GREATER relocations have been put on hiatus until further notice. Sorry, Pandabear.
Also, my confidence has risen quite a bit, lately. I personally blame the clothes. Seriously, kids. I cant believe I'm saying it, but get some Coke White Shoes. Suddenly I'm walking with my head a little higher, feelin' good. And it's noticed.
I've had a few faces from the past resurface, which I didn't expect. I'm not complaining. Just strange how some things never change. And some things REALLY do. I've been talking to Kat a lot via internet e-mailings. I enjoy it, interestingly enough. Forgot how much fun she is. I heard from Awesome yesterday asking if I wanted to go out Friday. I told her I was working till 2230, and that's the last I heard from her. Wifey and I were supposed to go out last night, but after not hearing from her all day, I kinda gave up on that and went to the gym with the soon-to-be-new-roomies, Garrett and Jeremy. I missed her call. Sucked.
So things are starting to look up for me. I'm all around pleased with life right now, aside from missing some people dearly. Now, if I can just lose 30 lbs by new years and actually have someone to KISS this year, I think I can write 2007 off as a success.
