i wish we all had the strength of Cindy Sheehan

my conservative political theory class will rock. our discussion today was unreal.

-whats just and whats unjust?
-what are our motives for acting justly?
-would we act justly if there were no consequences for acting otherwise?
-is justice absolute?

i was almost afraid to open my mouth. almost everybody that spoke seemed to know so much. its a 300 level class, almost all seniors, a couple juniors, and one or two sophomores. im intimidated and i love it. itll kick my ass into becoming more prophetic.

also im thrilled for my constitutional law class will be good too (also a 300 level class, but more soph/juniors). im finding that these politics classes and my minor is really going to help me in what i want to do. usually minors are for fun or for the hell of it. occassionally though, they will benefit you beyond belief. i think this is the case. for those of you who dont know, my ULTIMATE life goal is start a nationally touring theatre troupe that raises political and social awareness, especially with regards to feminist, racial, and LGBT issues.

my theater organization and management class will help also. we'll be learning of all the different types of theaters (including professional non-profit theaters, the on i want to own!!!)

directing 1 will be good too, i guess. i dont plan to be overly challenged really, but it'll be good for the discipline aspect of things.

i am really convinced that this is going to be the first year where i actually feel like working not towards a degree, but for a career.

for life.

god, these moments are what makes the $18,000 a semester almost worth it...

greet the meat weekend.
