MY 2008

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? Visited Vancouver BC and Vancouver Island

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't think I had one... no new ones as of yet.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Not this year

4. Did anyone close to you die? My dear friend Edrik Gomez and this loss is one that will forever impact my life

5. What countries did you visit? Mexico, Canada, plus a bit of in country travel

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? Confidence in my talent

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Election night because it changed history, and September 24

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Making it into acting 2

9. What was your biggest failure? Losing my confidence

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? nothing worth mentioning

11. What was the best thing you bought? A dressy black coat that always makes me feel classy

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Colin Green's because he is such a great example of a geniunely caring/selfless person

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Occasionally my own

14. Where did most of your money go? college and food

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Playing soccer in Mexico with the kids and my 3 year old nieces finally figuring out a name for me that they could pronounce

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? "Call of the Wild"

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Mostly Happier (I've reintegrated into my normal stateside life)
ii. thinner or fatter? same
iii. richer or poorer? probably poorer, I try not to think about it too much

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Hanging out in nature and spending time with Edrik

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? scrounging the internet for entertainment

20. How will you(did you) be spending Christmas? I spent it with my family in Twin Falls like usual.

22. Did you fall in love in 2008? That's a toughy

23. How many one-night stands? I don’t do those.

24. What was your favorite TV program? How I Met Your Mother, Firefly, and Ugly Betty

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I do my best never to hate anyone... there are a few new people who really get on my nerves though

26. What was the best book you read? Vagabonding: An uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel by Rolf Potts

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Cake

28. What did you want and get? A position on the acting 2 list

30. What was your favorite film of this year? Across the Universe

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Twenty and I hung out with a bunch of friends up at Phelp's House. It was a wonderful time filled with people who I don't get to see nearly enough of.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Being in a fulfilling/loving/exciting/non-long distance/supportive romantic relationship

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? Eclectic with a large dose of retro and a smattering of class

34. What kept you sane? My loved ones and my faith

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Heath Ledger (It's not as morbid as it sounds, he was my favorite male celebrity since I was in junior high)

36. What political issue stirred you the most? Obama vs McCain

37. Who did you miss? So many people, but especially my friends in Spain and Ryan

38. Who was the best new person you met? The friends we made that night in Vancouver

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008: Life is short so love all you can and never take anything for granted
